Enquiry routes ≠ active coverage. These routes are listed to help identify locations across the UK. Whether MOTO WAY can arrange assistance depends on the exact location, safety, partner capacity and confirmation.
NATIONAL ROUTE INDEX
Find a road by name.
Explore the catalogue of UK motorways, motorway-standard sections and important strategic A-road routes.
No matching routes in this directory. Try another road number or country.
This curated national index includes major routes and motorway spurs; it is not a listing of every local road. Routes without detailed map geometry can still be selected and described.
EXPLORE BY COUNTRY
Four nations. One simple explorer.
Explore the UK network by country, then narrow down to the route and junction most relevant to you.
MAKING YOUR LOCATION CLEAR
Know your road? Let's describe where you are.
A road number alone may not be enough to understand where you have stopped. Add a direction of travel, nearest junction or services, and whether you are safely off the motorway.
📍
For example“M1 northbound, near Junction 13, at motorway services.”
Please only check road signs or send details when it is safe to do so.

ROAD SIGNS MADE SIMPLE
Junctions, directions and services.
Use these practical references to describe your position more precisely without guessing.
Junction numbers
Give the nearest signed junction number and, if possible, say whether you are before or after it.
Direction of travel
Use northbound, southbound, eastbound or westbound. On an orbital road such as the M25, use clockwise or anticlockwise.
Services and safe locations
Where safely possible, provide the name of motorway services, a nearby town or another agreed stopping location.
Verified junction and services information
Detailed junction and service-area records belong on the relevant route guide once checked against reliable road sources. The optional route-record manager in Page Essentials can publish verified notes without changing the theme.
DATA PRINCIPLENo invented junctionsNames and locations must be verified before publication.
A safer location matters more than a quick repair.
If possible, leave at a suitable exit or motorway service area. If you cannot reach safety, follow the Highway Code's motorway breakdown advice. If you are in immediate danger, call 999 and ask for the police. Never attempt a repair on a live motorway.
